This version of the game is called Shut the Box. It is a very solid game unit of stained finish wood and green felt and comes complete with dice. Rubber “feet” are on the bottom to protect your table top. The object of the game is to get the lowest score for your round. There are numbers 1 through 10 on the board. This product and quality is very good for the price. Only difference I would want is for the dice to be larger, legal size. I have to order 10 more games for my friends. Everyone loves it.

This is a great way to reniforce learning of numbers and math skills with your children. They love to compete with you in a game manner, learning with out the pressure. Lot’s of fun

I didn’t realize this box does not come with the box as pictured, it ships in a solid cardboard plain box. The game is fun, but there are other versions that have 12 numbers instead of just 10. It did ship and arrive quickly, and it is a fun addicting game.

Our family loves this game and I was excited to purchase it as a family Christmas gift. I was disappointed that the game did not arrive in the box shown on the picture. Instead it arrived in a plain brown cardboard box and as others have stated, it arrived without directions. (Which wasn’t a biggie for us since we already know how to play.) The dice are also not your standard sized dice, but rather baby sized dice. I wish I would have read the other reviews before purchasing this item and I am disappointed that a company can feel good about false advertising their product.

Both Shut the Box games arrived without cover boxes and with NO instructions! I had to download instructions from the Internet to enclose with the gifts.
